I dropped Claire in my head so long ago, that I nearly forgot I never did it officially. Being a rather underdeveloped character, and my first, she didn't really work out the way I had planned as was very difficult for me to play. So that's the end of that.

The new Headmistress really isn't as bad as everyone is making her out to be.

Of course, actually enforcing the dress code is ridiculous, but all of the other rules make prefect logical sence.

Matty-- How has your first days of school been? I haven't seen you yet.

I'm back from camp, yay!

What did I miss? I plan on going back and reading all/most/some of it soon, but it would really help if I had an idea of what I missed.

So, I'm a prefect now. Mother and Father are quite proud.

The badge is so shiny I am afraid I may become swell headed. I must continue to remind myself that I am not all that special.

It is my personal opinion that the recently published Ministry safety guidelines are a tremendous waste of paper. They appear to me to be either commonsense, things any concerned family would already have done, or entirely ridiculous ( Read more... )

If Matty wants to do something with Claire that is perfectly fine, and Luna is up for grabs.

Just Transfiguration and Arithmacy left... probably the two hardest subjects, but the fact that Claire believed she had aced the rest of her exams and that she felt like doing a cartwheel gave her the possibly false sense of confidence to end her study session early. Pulling out a piece of paper, the girl quickly composed a short note.
