I'd get it checked out if I were you. Supposedly if a mole starts to hurt or changes size or shape it can mean bad stuff. :|

If it grows, changes color, or such, then yes. Bad news. Hurting moles I think can just happen. I've had freckles hurt, and my hair hurt. But you may wanna go get that checked out.
