i know what you mean. when i worked with the elementary school kids i was constantly praying for them and their generation becuase everything seemed to be going downhill for them. especially the ones i worked with. they had more problems becuase their parents had them enrolled in this daycare thing from six in the morning to six at night. it was awful seeing how vulnerable they were to the immorality that is prevailing in our society. you can see it in their eyes how desperate they are for love. and i think thats where a lot of the type of stuff that you were talking about comes from - a lack of love and a need to be fulfilled. i think about it a lot too. for me, i've come to the conclusion that i just need to live my life and let people see my morals and everything regardless of what they think (which gets pretty complicated in college) i guess thats all i can do for now. overall though i feel pretty helpless like you do.
