The one thing . . . well, Angel Investigations has never been what you'd call awash in cash. I know what you were earning at Wolfram & Hart and there's no way we'd be able to match that. Heh. To be honest, you were making in a month most of what we made in a year around here. You're looking at quite a pay cut if you stick around here. I just wanted you to know that upfront.

Money's not that big of an issue, honestly. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm independently wealthy. But, I wouldn't be scared away by a cut in pay. And honestly? If I don't need it, I wouldn't take it. Whatever I can do, I will.

And, I'm pretty flexible. Formerly evil, I've had to fit in to many different situations. I can pick up anything once you give me an idea of what I'm doing.

Nina's due back in Tuesday. Wasn't sure how long this fight was going to last, so I made sure she was out of town for a while. Her flight's getting in after dark, so I can go to the airport and meet her. Hope she's still willing to see me. I don't think she understood that I sent her away for her own good.

You better show up with like a dozen roses and be prepared to grovel. It didn't look like she was too happy with you when you last saw each other. I'm just sayin'...
