suffocating how? thats an odd thing for some one to complain about because it isn't something physical.

i dont think it is odd at all. i feel the same way about mine. she calls me all the time for no apparent reason, makes me go everywhere with her, doesnt like it when i get close with other people...some times she can be a real drag.

i have a lot of best friends, but i hate how one of them has the biggest ego on the size of the planet and bosses me around, how one of them is so pathetic, how one of them ditched me for someone stupid, and how one of them has the worst attitude.

I'm a bit of a drifter. Everyone knows me, and mostly everyone likes me...but I don't have a "best friend". If I need help or a favor or something, sure there are people I would be more inclined to ask than others, but at the end of the day, Superman Works Alone.

dont you get lonely? i mean i am not one to talk because i sometimes feel the same way as you do, but i have one person that i talk on the phone with more than my other friends. what i mean is i have one person that i really count on the most. dont you? doesnt everyone?

i doubt that person gets lonely. some people are better off alone. and what if the person you really count on the most lets you down? then what?

if the person you count on the most lets you down, my advice, would be to get back on the horse. but maybe a different horse.
the way i think about it is i feel like its like when you are in a relationship with someone and you love that person, would die for that person, need that person to survive. and that person ups and leaves you. moves on. leaves you for someone better. does that mean that you are going to stay single and heart broken for the rest of your life all because of that one boyfriend/girlfriend?
sure you are going to be broken hearted for a while and yes you may feel like you will never love some one as much as you loved that person, however you will date other people and experience other new things.
i feel the same way about bestfriends. ... if that makes any sense.

i gave up on "best friends" because, really, its dangerous to designate one person as a "best friend". it creates unrealistic expectations.

unrealistic expectations how?

i have a best friend! i love them! there isnt one thing that i would change about them!

oh well, what i mean is i have a lot of best friends, and not just ONE person who is THE bff. its better to share the wealth , so to speak.
