Because of the bizarre order I write these journals, these last three have been written in the last hour or so. I've realized that writing about things, helps. Noticeably, that and a bit decent, uplifiting music. I seem to have neglected this journal a bit over the last month. I'll have to fill it in with a few more bits over the coming weeks.

Through everything that I've done, the one thing thats always stood in my way has been drawing, I've never managed to master it beyond straight line shapes. If there's one skill which I'd love to master would be being able to draw something. Today is a bit of a special day for me, since over the weekend I surpassed 10,000 photographs taken with my Nikon D50. That works out at... 3,333 a year since I bought it or about 10 a day. Interesting thing is, its duty cycle is about 50,000 shots, so I'm a fifth of the way through that, I suspect that 20,000 will come much faster than getting to ( Read more... )

There's some days which I tend to find at work where I feel either undervalued or not given room to let my career grow how I'd like it to. I like to think that I don't ask for things whilst at work but still feel like I'm used by others as a stepping block for them to get to where they want to be, with little in return for me.

I hate trains at times. The train was 40 minutes late getting into Leeds. Blaaargh. I'll update properly about the meet when I get home since there is a lot to say. Too much to type on an iPhone. And some of it is fairly important hearty stuff. What with it being a year to the day since my first northern fur meet.
