No, no, Green Frogs are delicious! And horrific at the same time. You can feel your teeth melting.
My grandad was German, and my dad carried on a lot of his Christmas traditions, especially where food was concerned. I don't care at all if there's a turkey or cranberry sauce, but there had better be lebkuchen and stollen and cheeses and cold meats and a gingerbread house, or it's not Christmas. :)
Dude, Lebkuchen are the bestest! There's a German store near me that sells them year-round but I only buy them at Advent & Christmas because to do otherwise would be SO WRONG.
I just found out this week that there's a German Christmas market in the city where I work - I'm just debating which afternoon to take off so I can properly investigate its delights.
Ha! I'd invite you round next time someone at home has a birthday, but you might change your mind. My family are disgusting, and I say that with love. ;)

Your upbringing and feelings toward Christmas pretty much resembles mine - I love Christmas food and smells and traditions and cards!!
