I was reading through old entries, and I came to a conclusion...
Younger me annoys current me.
However, I miss my optimism...

still can't believe that I'm actually engaged to the most wonderful man!

So, I had an UUUH-mazing experience at a new church on Sunday. It's held in a brewery here in H-ville, and it's a small group of people in a nice age range and diverse personalities. Country Club = GREAT JOB!!
pre-work work-out = awesome
almost 100 degrees outside = not so amazing
feeling hydrated = wonderful
trying to make it to camp this summer = worthwhile goal (Matt, it's in the mail!! :D )

My Gran's brother (my Great-Uncle Rensey) is in the hospital. He's been battling cancer for about 2 years now, and has been in and out of the hospital. I got a phone call from Mom today letting me know that Uncle Rensey had a heart attack last night with skyrocketing blood pressure. I am having severe motivation issues. I really need to get my head back in the game...

So, I was making brunch this morning (you know, bacon, eggs, muffins...). I should also tell you that I bake my bacon on a broiler pan, to make myself feel better about eating the thick-sliced and using bacon grease for my eggs :). Anyways, the muffins were about half-way through and the bacon finished, so I pulled the bacon out of the oven. ( Read more... )

Last night I started thinking about all the classes i'm taking this semester. I realized how big of a nerd I was when I realized that I hated missing my history lectures. My Prof's lectures are FASCINATING! I once missed a Monday lecture, and went to his Tuesday morning section so as not to miss out.
