finally found an anime series that I liked. well, corey found it. Samauri Champloo. well done. the main female character is still somewhat stupid, but not as annoying as most japanime.

but I still hate radiohead.

I went off to Cornish, and apparently became friends with someone you knew in high school, Nicole Corrigan. Graduated cum laude in Jazz Trombone, and like most Jazz Trombonists these days, got a job in IT shortly after. I should be heading off to Japan by next July.

Anyway, Paranoia Agent is boss, but really, do yourself a favor and watch his movie Perfect Blue. It's not going to be like any other Anime you ever see.

i may have asked you once before, but have you seen the anime miniseries FLCL (Furi Kuri)?

no, there's no one whiny in it, no trashy outfits, but the plot is convoluted but unlike anything else before it, and it's definitely not stupid. i could watch it again and again and get more out of it each time. it's definitely exceptional... one of the main characters rides a special vespa ss180 and carries around an unusual rickenbacker bass guitar... it's also one of the few animes out there whose english dubbed version is extremely well done, both in the script and the voice acting... it's very surreal at times but there are definite plots and themes... and i found that i could relate at least a little bit to just about every character in it...
