*certainly wouldn't be doing so if she knew the place looked even worse than it reads*

*decides to escape from the house and her not-so-secretly pining grandmother for a few hours*

*wanders through town*

*has the nagging feeling she's been just missing other family members for the past few days*

*gets word of Maglor's brush with death*
