what is the hardest thing you've ever done?

for me it was telling dark_knightly that i couldn't live with her. one moment, harder than 5 years of earning my black belt? totally. she asked me to "keep it off the internet" but i don't think she meant here; i think she meant twitter and facebook, where she still lives. here is a ghost town and since i still ( Read more... )

Good for you for deciding what doesn't work for you and then making that happen. It is indeed hard. Many of my most difficult moments have involved boundary setting.

There is no one hardest thing I've ever done, there are many hard things I've done. One of the hardest things is watching a friend, or loved one, do something or go through something and not being able to do anything to help them. I miss you, I love you, I wish I was there with you.

I second what Meredith said. Knowing someone I care about and think the world of is hurting and that I can't help ease the pain, that is a hard thing.

You are so strong and so brave and so wonderful. I am so very sorry you are hurting, but so very glad you are strong enough to do what you need to do.

I wish I could take you out to sushi and play scrabble with you until everything was alright again.
