i'm tired... truly deeply tired..

and i have been for about two years now.

i work very hard and am not appreciated for it.

and i would like to go home.

I'm really itching to travel. I need some kind of change. I'd love to travel the world, even (especially) if it's to do something useful like environmental work or building people houses or something.

can we make it socially acceptable for me to live at home with my mom for the rest of my days.

I need some European adventures. Too bad I can barely stand the three hour flight home.

I feel like everyone is where they need to be when they need to be there for whatever reason.

You know the world is in a good place when CNN can spend an hour and a half debating on why and how Anna Nicole died and discussing possible ramifications. Taking a break only to give us up to the minute coverage of the "britney shaved her head" story.

valentine's day falls on a pay day this year, a pay day which does not coincide with the rent being due.

ergo, it will be the best valentine's day i've ever had.

granted, working in a very small boutique is probably different than working at an Old Navy, but I think it still stands that anyone who complains about how hard retail is should try some form of food service and reconsider.
