The Current State Of Grit

Hi guys,

This is loooong overdue, but I can’t put it off any longer.

Yes, Grit has been on hiatus.

Long story short: I’ve been struggling with myself over Grit, and after much weighing-up and soul searching, I (personally - not Danny) can’t keep doing this the way I have been. Before panic sets in, this doesn’t mean I’m dropping Grit

It'll also be a better incentive for me to do pages. Working in the lonely, silent void for months while doing whole chapters finally took its toll. Just...can't anymore. Too depressing.

Well you did influence some people and I loved the format, but I can empathize with the void thing.

Glad too to hear it's not a "game over" announcement.

Sounds good to me -- I was actually going back and rereading your archives the other day, and wondering how things were coming. You've done a great job so far, and I'll be looking forward to whatever comes with the new format as well.

Trudy: I'll be happy to see PG continue in any way, shape, or form you guys choose. Besides, this means we'll be getting to see updates more often! Yay for that. :)

As others have said, all I really want it to see Grit continue; it's been my favorite comic for years, and I eagerly await every new issue. The flash format was fantastic, and I loved getting big, healthy doses, even if I did have to wait a long while between them. But, if this is what it takes to keep Grit going, then I look forward to being able to read on a more regular basis!

Are you going to keep previous issues available in flash? I think it would be a nice option to reread old, already-formatted issues with that pacing, but understand that that would impact consistency.
