as of late:

-Sat was Erika's baby shower, yay!  It was wonderfully decorated.  And we all seemed to have a good time, even if it was a bit awkward for me due to certain circumstances.  Do I have social anxiety disorder or something?  I got her some Husky gear... of course!! A onesie, socks, burp rag, and a set of Mickey Mouse (duh) receiving

1) Wow, you are a generous friend with baby shower gifting. Am very impressed. Also, who is baby Edward?

2)Being a tourist in Seattle always makes me happy. I forget how much I love the city. Yay for monorail and good seafood!

3) I KNOW, RIGHT? Shorts that look actually good on the bodies of ladies with hips and thighs (like me) are nearly impossible to find. Most of the non-short short variety tend to make me look like a resident of Leisure World retirement community, on my way to canasta night on Rose's lanai. But I, too, have had success with Bermuda shorts. Tommy Bahama makes some really great (if kind of insanely expensive) ladies' Bermuda shorts that I own and wear all the time.

1. I sort of *have to* get every baby some Husky gear.. spread the Husky love, right? Learn who to root for ;). I feel like getting an education is important too, and everyone should have the opportunity to go to college which is why I want to help Erika and Time set up an acct for the baby. So far I've found a 529 (education) acct, but my only fear that if Edward doesn't go to college he might not have access to the money saved up in there over time, since from what I've read it's for education expenses only.. His parents started college but didn't finish so maybe something is better than nothing, we'll see I guess. Also, Erika and I met while working at Lifetouch (my job after graduation) and she got married last summer and this summer she's having a baby.. in 3 wks. Baby Edward
