So yesterday morning my mom took me to the DMV in College Point and I finally got my permit. It was like a three hour wait, but it was worth it. Then we went to Malawi and splurged, of course. My mom got me this poetry calendar for Channukah, you know the kind where you tear off a page for each day, and each day says something different? I really like most of the poems. I'm reading On The Road by Jack Kerouac and it really makes me want to go cross-country when I get older.  I'd buy some vintage car and drive across the country with only $150 dollars in my pocket.  I'd write some memoir about it and it'll epitomize a generation.  Although, for some reason, I think that would be easier for a guy.  Whatever.  Maybe ( Read more... )
