I like Lost. Enough to watch it regularly, which is more than I can say for any other TV program (okay, except The Office). To my credit, I have never been the type to spend a lot of time thinking about the show after I'm done watching it, let alone have extended convos about it or read conspiracy theories on the internet ( Read more... )

Stop it. I can't take anymore. Just bury it all and we're pretend it isn't happening.

Do you watch the show?

"I can't believe you forgot to mention the most important thing: The red heifer that the pilot saw! In Judaism, the red heifer (Hebrew:?????? ??????????; parah adumah) is a young cow that is sacrificed and whose ashes are used for the ritual purification of people who came into contact with a corpse. Hope that adds some fuel to the theories."

(Response:)"Red heifer - good theory -BUT I think from looking at the back end, the animal was clearly not a heifer - but a bull. No?"

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME. I clearly said stop it. I am going to die from the toxic stupidity of the human race now, and it will be all your fault for exposing me to it.
Nope, I don't watch the show. Nothing against it mind you, I just haven't seen it. ;-)

It's okay, you can still live a happy life without it. ;)

The funny thing is that the comments are even more stupid if you know what they're supposed to be referencing... Hard to believe, I know, but it's true.

I KNOW! I have searched the internet for various Lost references or theories just to look up this thing or that which has come up in conversation and OH MY GOODNESS! The stupidity of the comments. I see it elsewhere too when I research things online. Every time I get initially angry/upset at their stupidity and think of a good retort to set them straight and then decide it isn't worth it and won't work anyway and ignore the whole thing altogether. I should stop reading comments on the internet (except for ones like these, of course) but sometimes it does supply a good portion of laughs.

Ahahahahahaha! Oh my goodness. Thank you for trawling the intarwebs for us. I'm not sure I could have handled it myself. I would have wanted to respond to every single idiot (even knowing it wouldn't do any good).
