i would probably want to ask you questions right now about whats been going on since i got back, and you would probably expect that, but right now i just dont want to think about all of that, and if i do, you would get all apathetic and answer calmly, but rudely...so fuck that. so here i go...

1) interesting question. i dont know what part of my life i would tape but right now i really enjoyed the end of this day sept 10. i'd watch the end nonstop if it would give the same feeling as actually doing what i did then just watching what i did. i walked from LCC at 5pm and as i went up these ramps to go over the train tracks a man ran up from behind and was asking me about the metro. he was german and spoke very little english. i walked him to the bus station, gave him ten dollars and i did all that i could to help him because of his story whether it was a lie or not. he was a drifter, a wander, someone i always thought of myself as but he crosses state lines and i only dream. it ended as i gave him his ticket to washington and he still didnt understand but i hope he gets to where he wants to go. he attempted to follow me out and i tried to explain to him what to do. feeling was similar to when you leave a puppy that you met on the road but cant keep and you're force to leave it there. odd. i saw myself again in my
