so kumar drove me home last night and stopped at his house and gave me a 5 lb bag of mike 'n ikes for my birthday.

needless to say, my sweet sixteen party night was awesome, right to the very end.

hah! i already have my permit because my birthday was actually two weeks ago...and i've passed drivers ed and took my first double road lesson today and went on the highway, having only driven twice before (and that was yesterday...)

... i distinctly remember your eighth birthday party.
i remember always saying, "we'll tell you when you're older."
&now you are older. &alice and i are older. &there's probably more to say now than there ever was, but i hope that for now you're having fun discovering it all on your own.
i think the greatest birthday gift is the possibility for knowledge &growth in the up&coming year.
this post made me think a whole lot of weird things.
