A piece of mind

Something I wanted to convey for long to those who were once part of the infp-v2 community of the journal-
It seems to be an empty house which was in the past full of vivid & warm INFP interactions. It gives a very different feeling while reading through the posts.

It is kind of getting that way in a lot of LJ land. Everybody has left for Facebook or some other platform.

All my LJ friends are on Facebook now. I had originally met them on a listserv for INFPs. Unfortunately, the depth of discussion simply does not seem develop as well with the Facebook format.

Recently, I've decided to make an attempt to re-energize my LJ submissions and open up to new online friends since Facebook just does not feel conducive to sharing my more personal feelings and thoughts. Having deeper layers of my heart dredged for keywords used to direct ads at me is repugnant and the knowledge that I don't control the use of my content further discourages me, plus the low signal to noise ratio on FB.

My old friends still have intact LJ accounts, so I'm thinking of using Facebook as a means of notifying these friends of any new posts I make on LJ without requiring them to check daily in two places. Perhaps I'll make similar posts to yours, sanjukta_95, on LJ groups I've enjoyed that seem defunct now.

Anyone here should feel free to contact me to be added to my LJ friends list as well as Facebook, if you're there also.

:) Okay lets have some meaningful interactions on Live Journal. To be honest I'm moved by a sheer happiness whenever I read through the posts of infp-v2. After I had made the first post on it, I realised it had been active some 6 years back.

I'll add you to friend's list as soon as my internet connection becomes steady.

I second this. Lets, please, have some meaningful interactions here. Rejuvinate this community here. Again I agree, I've often found even though the posts may be sparse, that reading and re-reading seems to be a wellspring of hope of sorts. Perhaps that's just me, but I do find myself coming here when I'm troubled, and despite whatever it may be that I am struggling with in any given moment, I think there is a sort of soothing in the like minded perspectives found here, and the sensation that I am not alone, and that others often find the world to be burdensome in ways that seem to be overlooked by those in our social circles. not sure exactly how to jump start or water such a garden, but I would definately like to be a part of it here :) please keep me in the loop, all the best to each and every one of you. lets nurture our tribe
