"Just because you are capable of doing something doesn't mean you should"

I agree with you 100%...I'm disgusted by this woman and I think the judge's ruling was more than acceptable...actually, I think she shouldve gone farther and *forced* sterilization on the parents. They obviously couldn't take care of their four children...so why let them have more? Some people are not capable of raising a child if they themselves have not matured past that "child stage". This makes me sad...that's why I wanna work in the foster care or adoption systems. To make sure that these children get good homes full of love and support where they can grow into productive, intelligent adults...

...yeah... :oD

I duno though.. With the forced sterilization issue. I mean, yes, people screw up, in all aspects of life, but some do make a good comeback, recover, and make up for their mistakes. If someone could turn around in a decent amount of time, properly take care of themselves and the kids they have, then I don't see why they couldn't have more children. Now, I know parenting isn't something that should be taken lightly and parenting mistakes are a pretty big deal, but I duno...

I think it's really cool that you want to work for foster and adoptive services. You're such a caring, compassionate, and giving person (when you want to be of course!) and for the right reasons. :)

This entire argument is ridiculous. Child bearing is a natural thing.

Owning a dog, getting a job, going to school, driving a car... These things aren't in our human nature. They are in our societal nature.

Furthermore, fucking is in our human nature. Fucking causes babies... you know that.
