Lilly is two months old now, as of yesterday. TIme is flying and I cannot believe how big she has gotten. She smiles all the time and is really interactive now. She already loves to 'talk.' Lilly is two weeks old today. It seems like we've had her for so much longer. She is such a good baby.... only cries when she needs something and she is quickly comforted when you tend to her. She is starting to be more awake and alert and respond to things around her. Rufus loves her to death and is very protective of her. They are so cute ( Read more... )

My water broke at 2am on Monday, just as we were going to bed. We arrived at the hospital at 7am and they started pitocin around noon because I wasn't having contractions on my own and I was only 3 cm dilated. Lilly was born on Monday, June 19th at 6:21pm (exactly a week after her estimated due date). She weighed 8 pounds .04 ounces and was 21 inches long. She has tons of dark brown hair and beautiful blue eyes.

Tomorrow is our due date. We have an appointment at 2pm and I am going to have my membranes stripped. If it works, Lilly should be born within 48 hours! I hope it works... We're ready for this.

Dave K is nesting. It's so cute. :)
