i need to move. ideally i want a bachelor but since i can't afford that just yet i'll settle for a two bedroom and roommate.

neighborhood: main street, commercial drive, downtown (in that order)
price ceiling: negotiable (not over $800)
size: i don't really care as long as it isn't a dump. where i'm living now is tiny (no kitchen, no windows, etc.) therefore anything is a step up.

you should check if there's anything in the building we used to live in (1831 Robson). We paid just under $800 for a cute one-bedroom, though I guess it has likely gone up a little.
