Productive Morning

Nov 04, 2009 07:59

Before finishing cooking breakfast this morning I managed to both go for a run and break up with Joon Yee. I am so productive! Go me! No really!

Only nine more months until our lease is up. Longest nine months ever.

Holy crap! You "cook" breakfast? The last time I tried to do that my cereal bowl melted in the oven. Hmmm, maybe next time I should try baking my bowl of cereal with the heat off so the bowl doesn't melt. I bet that would work.

But really it sounds like you've had a rough morning and I'm sorry. I hope it doesn't turn into a rougher day and even rougher week for you. Perhaps next spring you'll move back northeast? That could be good.

Ha! Yeah, I've started doing oatmeal for breakfast. Although today was grits. (Which is pretty much all I've eaten today since I had dental abuse yesterday. Woe!) Very surreal to stand at the stove stirring grits and breaking up with your boyfriend!

I am definitely looking to move back to the civilized world. I am so deeply looking forward to it that I don't really have words to explain it!

Ha! Too fucking true. I was hoping that we could limp along until closer to the end of the lease, but no such luck. Ah well. Turns out that he did actually notice that the whole relationship was thoroughly f-ed up!

Thank you! Btw, I've been reading your journal, too, and i want in on your filter! I want to read about other people getting into the lovely snarls of a new relationship so that I can vicariously do something that I don't have much interest in doing just now. Give me long discussions of squee!
