This morning my cat was struck with amnesia. We were in the kitchen. I was holding him. He looked up at the ceiling fan (which was not on) with great interest. He then squirmed and bolted out of the room. A moment later he crept back and looked back up at the ceiling fan. Terror struck, he ran off again. It was very bizarre. I have been sleeping well lately, feeling better, and just plain happier, all thanks to my evening therapy sessions. I am not seeing a shrink or a massage therapist, but instead reading Calvin and Hobbes for about 20 minutes each night before bed ( Read more... )

Karen and I haven't seen much of each other this week, so we have been having a nice and relaxing weekend together. We rented "American Wedding." I give it pretty much 2 thumbs down. I have spent several hours sitting on my butt the last few days. I sat on my butt in the car while we drove through negative 5 degree weather to go to the Springfield Symphony Hall where I sat on my butt while listening to a performance of Scheherazade (and other pieces). I had a good night at my little club. A couple of the 13 year old boys fenced electric epee for the first time and had a lot of fun...one even made a toe touch.
