Well August is just flying by! Had my first meeting for the fall semester yesterday so that basically means summer is over and the fall semester is upon us. Classes start next week

We did miss you at LonCon!! It's not right without you, but I can understand your desire to go to HP and YA stuff over Worldcon. I am the new Chair for the YA Award Committee, although I consider it more of a Co-chair thing with Angalin, Ser Scot, and Maid of Woodlynne. You want to join? Or at least, can I constantly come to you for advise and info?

I got much sadder than I expected. Especially when I was stalking you all down on twitter and saw pics being posted of you all signing! Looks like you had so much fun.

Ooo congratulations! I can be some kind of non official adviser but don't put my name officially on the list. I'll do a post on the YA things and observations from LeakyCon so you can learn about all that.

Back in the US, back in Knoxville, teaching at UT. Got to find a permanent job this year!

I think I will probably set up a Yahoo Groups for the committee. I've got to get on that, but this has been an exhausting week.

We still have so many books to talk about from this year!
