It's been a long time since I put anything in here.

I had all-state tryouts today.

The Special Goodness is the side-project of Weezer drummer Patrcik Wilson and former Rocket Formt he Crypt drummer Atom Willard. They're kind of similar to Weezer, but more mellow. Check it out.

I hope everyone had a great 4th. I know I did. I went to Bob Evans for breakfast and got a very good waffle with strawberries and whipped cream on top. Then I saw "Batman Begins" which was great. I suggest you all see it. Then I went to Books A Million and bought X-Men and Futurama comics. Then we grilled hamburgers and they were very good.

The Christian band Showbread combines elements of punk, hardcore, screamo, and other rock into their music. They have two singers and a keytar. Yeah, they're that cool. Recommended for fans of any of the above-listed genres.

I saw Punchline at the Brickhouse last night (yeah, a non-local band actually played there) and they are exceptionally good live. They're solid pop-punk with lots of energy. And they even made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the crowd. I got their album "Action" and it is pretty good too. As an added bonus, it was five freaking dollars ( Read more... )
