This show on Azteca America called "Infarto" set up this young woman had a man terrorize her and "rape" her mother. This was apparently supposed to be funny. I saw this shit on The Soup this weekend and found absolutely nothing funny about it. I simply can't derive anything even distantly resembling humor in convincing

you know, I watched that show once at my aunt and uncles house (not that particular episode) and I found it to be really terrible. They aren't remotely funny, not any of the situations I saw at least, they were so shaken and totally frightened there was no way to derive any sort of humor from the fact that it was all a set up. the joyful "gotcha" factor is non-existent.

I don't even want to watch this clip because it's too disgusting, based on the description.

It makes me sad because honestly I like TV Azteca (here in Mexico at least) and for the most part the network does a lot as far as fund raising, donating, keeping shit real...but thats not cool.

Also, since I haven't watched it, can you tell me does she hear that something is happening to her mom or does she see it with her own eyes? And is her mom in cahoots with the show?

Rape is not, has never been, nor will it ever be funny. Period.

I could not agree more! I have seen the show a couple of the times and I rarely get the joke!

if it makes you feel marginally better, on big brother africa, one of the male contestants was shown sexually assaulting one of the female contestants while she was asleep (or maybe under the influence? either way, she couldn't consent). what's sick is that he ended up winning the competition.
