Hey, if a boy says your dress is pretty, it is an absolutely different statement from saying that you look pretty in that specific dress, right?

Scientists have just built the world's biggest ever supercollider and they're doing an experiment to find out what makes up protons. I hope that if the experiment's successful, the whole of our reality will dissolve and a big sign will come up that says, "LEVEL 2."

EDIT:  Never mind.  It has gotten worse.  I mean it was worse than I wanted to admit, but in top of that things HAVE worsened.  The body count from the original earthquake has reached almost 400 over 700, and there's been so many aftershocks (both from tremors and giant waves) that a lot more people have gotten hurt and a shitload more displaced.   ( Read more... )
