It is said the men learn from their mistakes, but wise men learn from the mistakes of others. Right now Shelby, I know you are more furious than you probably have ever been. And you have a right to be so. However, I have been in your exact posisition, and let me assure you, Nicole did what she did because she cares about you. And if you continue on the path you are currently on, your friendship will never be the same. I know after what happened between Nicole and I, even when we made up, our relationship has never been the same. I would do anything in the world to be friends like we used to be, but Im glad that i told her about my problems. Did she Betray me? yes. Did she do the exact opposite of what BEGGED her not to do? Yes. Am I glad I told her? Hell yes. Because telling someone and getting help is the first step to recovery. If your not willing to admit you have a problem, mabye you need someone to do that for you. You cant see this now, but Nicole is a good friend, you should wish that you had more like her

wow you should be glad she actually took you seriously.. i told people close to me - nothing happened. they worried, sure. but they didn't tell. they seemed to.. really not give a shit. they didn't think it was a problem, despite the fact it was. i'm laughin' cause you're really lucky. i hardly even managed to get myself under control after several close calls, but no one noticed. perhaps thats just how i am.. always under the radar.

anyway, don't hate nicole. she's a good friend.

listen to what marshall and angel are saying, because it's true. I don't understand why you always have to be so stubborn, then when i try to help you, you get all pissed off. especially when you told me something about your parents; then you denied the whole thing after i told you you had to tell someone about it. and if it IS your business, and yours alone, why did you tell me? when ppl tell other ppl stuff like this, theyre either looking for help or looking for attention. and if you're looking for attention, im going to be really, really pissed because i wouldn't be able to believe that you would use something for attention that causes me so much pain when i think about it. IT'S TIME YOU TELL THE TRUTH BECAUSE YOU ALWAYS PUSH THINGS AWAY AFTER YOU ADMIT IT TO SOMEONE!!!!!! and yes, i did have a right to tell him, because im a concerned friend and if i think that what you're doing can KILL you, i think that's good enough of a reason to tell someone, don't you?

You know shelby, when one of my friends is in trouble, it becomes my business. No matter how hard you try to push me away, im still going to be here for you. You could do the most awful things to me, but I'm still going to care about what happens to you. perhaps you should stop trying to push everyone away from you and accept the fact that people really do care about you. And yes, i do think that nicole thought about whats going happen during all of this. She knew that if she didn't do something that this would just continue, until something sever happened. i know that she hadent intervined with me, i would probably be dead or in a hospital.
