Sadly, not very much snow for Nottingham. I was looking forward to a day off building snow men! We've had a bit but it stopped around 11am today and has gradually been melting and turning to icy sludge. Our garden hasn't been tramped all over and still looks very pretty. I'm going to take some pictures tomorrow. -

I have a question....
There's a small graveyard on the Avenue close to the Vauxhall garage and the new housing development. It seems to be well tended and has a gate that is almost always locked. The gate was recently replaced with a metal gate after the wooden one was damaged. There is stone saying "Society of Friends 16--" though the stones in the graveyard look as if ( Read more... ) -

I hate to say it,but increasing the price of fuel is a really effective way of discouraging people to drive when they don't absolutely have to.
