My husband and I have a rule: if we're at the store, and he gets a magazine, so do I. Usually, he gets the latest Pc Gamer and I get Cosmo ( Read more... )

Yesterday was horrid at work, and hubs knew it. Then I had a horrid commute home on the glorious NJ Transit system. Hubs picked me up from the train station loaded with my favorite snacks and drinks to cheer me up. I love that man.

Haha! That's the primary reason mine almost never goes on his own. He'll come back with bags and bags of potato chips.

He gets up with the baby at 8 am so I can sleep in even though he was at work until 2. He always puts me first (hello 400$ worth of ortho work hes working overtime to pay for!) and he buys me make up.

When my husband knows I had a hard day at work he will pick me up and drive me to Cold Stone for ice cream.

We also have a dry erase board hanging on our fridge. I use it to write down things we have run out of so I can remember to pick them up when I'm writing out my grocery list. Last week I was really emotional (PMS!). I came into the kitchen and he had written a real sweet note to me. Made me cry, lol.

:) You're definitely welcome. I cannot get mine to watch chick flicks, under any circumstances. He will rub my shoulders when I'm doing the dishes, though.

I have the hardest time getting mine to watch them too. One day I had a gf over and we were watching The Notebook. He came in maybe about half way through it and at the end he got teary. It was so cute. My gf and I were blubbering idiots, but the fact that he got teary said something. I still tease him about it and he no one should be able to sit through that and not get teary.

my husband swore he'd never watch The Notebook...until one day when I was really sick after my radiation treatment and he came over (this is back when we were dating) with a frosty and The Notebook. :)
