It seems wrong to have to fill out an application to join this community being advertised. While it looks like a good community, a lot of the questions being asked in the application seem a little personal. To me, it would feel like I'm airing my personal laundry and then having people whether judge mine and my husband's relationship is good enough. Sorry, that's just my two cents.

I totally understand that. I know some communities ask if you're able, to promote them. There's a couple of fertility communities I belong to that ask the same thing.

Admittedly I've heard good things about the community you're promoting, and I wouldn't mind joining, but I'm not the kind of person who would be comfortable in answering those sorts of questions. It's just my humble two cents, that's it. =)

how is it different than this community?

other than the voting thing, which I'm not too keen on.

Don't know yet, I wasn't allowed to read previous posts until just now. But I've got a friend in there already, so I just thought, "why not?"

Ugh. Good thing I know my relationship is awesome without needing validation from a rating community.

I'm sorry, I'm not cool enough to promote a community I know nothing about so I doubt I'm cool enough to be your friend.

I agree with the others. WTF is with the voting?

Its to keep rude people out, obviously something this comm isn't too worried about.

I don't know how voting on an application (that requires a photo!) will keep rude people out.

Yeah, because nobody in this comm asks for or wants to post pictures of themselves or their SO's ever. You're totall 100% right on that one, yup.
