My cousin's apartment got burned up and that. Them & their kids (including 3 month old Barney!) are all fine but they were in when the people/person upstairs left their curling iron on a suitcase, so all they had a chance to grab was their passports and insurance documents before the place started to fall apart. I went to Norway and it was great. It was cold weather- 0°C at its warmest, lots of snow (LOTS of snow, I think the longest length of time it wasn't snowing was probably about 2 hours in the entire 4 days we were there) friendly easygoing people, lots of fellow blondes, lots of rock music, skiing (which I couldn't do, thanks foot.) and best of all ( Read more... )

Went to a banger of a house party last night. They had a (semi-pro I guess?) DJ set up in the living room and had done the whole place out with fairy lights and drapes and stuff, stuck a gazebo up in the garden, and blocked off the stairs with an actual roadblock sign.
