I've spent a few minutes trying to catch up on my Friends page.  I haven't updated in forever because we've been swamped at work, but I have a few minutes and needed a break!

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving.  Ours was good.  We went to Gulf Shores for Thanksgiving - it was warm and sunny and wonderful!  I had fun with my Dad's family, ( Read more... )

I know what you mean about shoes! Lately I have had to try on all different sizes just because every company makes their shoes either a little smaller or a little bigger. I hate it when I see a cute shoe and it's so pretty in a size 6 but so terrible in a size 9+! Shoe shopping is especially hard for me because I want high heels but not THAT high since I am 5'9"!!!

Wow I'm 5'9 too! Luckily my husband is a few inches taller so I can get away with some heels. But NOT those 5" spike heels lol!

My bf is the same height, so I get a little self concious if I'm taller than him. He doesn't care though. It's kind of difficult to balance all that height on that little heel though! I'm always looking out for the shorter heels!

Where did you manage to find sexy shoes for 9.5?! I'm trying to find some pretty (and not gaudy) gold strappy sandals. I've looked everywhere.. boo.

I am vaguely familiar with this elation you speak of when finding swanky shoes for us girls that DON'T wear a size 6 or 7! ESPECIALLY dressy shoes. Being that I wear a 10, it's been a very long time...I had to pretty much settle for the shoes I bought for my X-mas party...but congrats to you on the great find! Gotta keep us posted about your hubby's reaction to your getup ;-) Glad to hear you had an awesome holiday and weekend as well!

When I lived in Missouri we cut down our own Christmas tree every year...it was wonderful! It's so fun "hunting" for the perfect tree for you family. Now I have a fake one that has fiber optics...nothing like a real one!

My husband loves the fiber optic trees! I bought a fiber optic angel to go on top of the tree, that will have to do lol.
