How many days does it take for a letter to be delivered when its destination is 143 miles away? This isn't a word problem. I need to know for my own personal knowledge, so I can stop going silently insane.

give it like 3 or 4 days.. wait for them to write back, and then to send it which will be like 3 days plus sending=4 days so in like a week or two you should have the reply letter.
depending on when you or they send/sent.
