I check livejournal almost every single day to see how you guys are doing.

But I never let you know what's going on in my life.

I carved pumpkins tonite---and even made a dessert from scratch! I felt so Betty Crocker-ish.

Other than that, preparing for moving in the spring...

Well, I'm at work. (And for you that don't know, I work for Allstate Insurance agent in Bossier City, LA) I like it, but dang, these hours are killer. 8:30 in the morning until 5:30 at night. Then I have to go home and cook dinner. Good lord, I'm complaining. I feel sorry for people who have to work two jobs, or have kids and work the hours I do. ( Read more... )

Well, my husband's back.

Ahhhh....sweet wonderful bliss.

It made me so happy to be in the airport, and to see him walk around the corner and come walking towards me.

I know everyone was looking at us---because I ran to him and he picked me up and kissed me.

I love those "I swear I could be in a movie" moments.

Before he left, John left me two notes.

One in the book I'm reading, The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon. (I recommend this to ANYONE!) It said "I will think of you every moment until we are together again."

The other, in the silverware drawer, it simply said " I love you."

That is why I married him.

I'm not good enough for the world,
and I don't deserve you, my angel.

That is why I savor this moment,

as our hearts intwine.
