So Shawn and I were watching Alien vs. Predator, which I don't recommend watching ever. Anyway, there's an actor in the movie that I recognized, but couldn't figure out where from. Victoria and I have now moved in together and it's been pretty good. No real problems outside of my typical ones, and even those have toned down quite a bit. I really dig the place, though. It's cozy, and we have HBO. Everyone should come over and visit at some point.

So Victoria and I just accidentally went to the Sigur Ros concert. My step-brother works with putting sets together or something like that at the Palace and the Brown and such (I think) and I found out he gets comp'ed tickets sometimes (a lot of times). So the lottery (powerball) is up to $365 million. I don't think I'm going to play it, because if I were to win, my whole worldview on possibilities (of bad occurences, not good, because that's how my mind works) would be thrown off balance. I couldn't fall asleep for about a half an hour last night because of it, then woke up at about 4:30 am and I don't think I fell back asleep for any length of time the rest of the night. So my thunder's kinda been spoiled by the break since the last post. So what have I discussed? The length of time: a roughly 4 month initial claim and its similarly long appeal, leading into a 12 to 14 month wait for a hearing. So it would seem that the 5th generation iPods (one of which I received this Christmas) blow out the right earpiece of headphones used with them.
