Hi everyone. I'm applying as a transfer student to Oxy for next semester. I'm wondering how the dorm situation works when you transfer in for spring semester. Will I get placed with another new student, or will they put me in with people who have already been there for a semester? If anybody knows anything about how that works I'd really appreciate

What are the best jobs for work-study? I've heard that anything to do with the library is golden for studying, and jobs that involve food involves freebies.

Or anyone who has spent an excessive amount of time there, I have a question for YOU! I've been in there maybe once during the last three years, and now, I'm living there this year, and I was wondering...

So I found out that I am living in a corner room on the second floor of Bell-Young. Does anyone know anything about this building? The website is useless as far as measurements or really any info about the dorm goes. Any estimations of size or really any information at all on this building would be fantastic. Thanks!

oh! also--i lived on campus at depaul and i really don't want another year of that, but it seems like everyone lives in the dorms at oxy! is this really the case? how hard is it to get housing that is in the area but not in dorms? are there a lot of apartments, or mostly shared houses ( Read more... )
