I am happy to report that my son Benjamin was born May 29, 2006 at 2:35 AM. He was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 20 inches. Mommy and Ben are coming home today. I had to come home to work on a paper. Here are some photos of Ben:

The hospital called and we are scheduled to begin the induction process in an hour. We are very excited and nervous. Shannon is making last minute calls. Hopefully in the next couple of days, we will bring our son home.

Lordi, metal band from Finland won the Eurovision song contest with Hard Rock Hallelujah. The video is so metal goofy that it brings a smile to my face.

Went to the Doctors today. I always love hearing the heart beat, 155 beats per minute. Set up a tentative date for induction.     Shannon and I just can't wait for Ben to arrive. The pregnancy is having an effect on all of us. Shannon is having trouble sleeping more than a couple of hours. She has trouble getting comfortable. I try to help when I can with footrubs, backrubs and hand massages, but she is constantly hot even with the house being an icebox. This video pretty much mirrors my day after I got home from school yesterday. Except I was watching cable since I don't have a Tivo.

Currently my honeydew list is a mile long, but Shannon and I were inspired by the rainy day to just chill yesterday. Shannon also was having a bad stomach ache the night before so she was just trying to relax.
