Well, I was online last night, and one of my online friends is getting married and asked me if I could make it to vegas sometime in January. Interesting. I've never met her before and only talked to her maybe once on the phone. Sounds like fun though.

Lisa might be coming down to Florida in Feb. for some benefit dinner so I might see if I can join her there or something. We'll see if we're still talking and what not.

Lisa actually invade my dream last night. Guess it was the long phone call we had. Had another one of those today when my kite was self destructing.

So today I was workin' on me operatin' systems project and BAM, it goes fork crazy and kills t' server. Couldn't log on or run any processes for over half an hour. I'm just waitin' for t' admin t' write me a nasty email now.

Lots to do this weekend.

1. Catch up on my readings for my bioinformatics class, maybe get the book.
2. Choose a project topic for bioinformatics.
3. Choose a paper to present for bioinformatics.
4. Operating system's minishell project.

My new AC adapter came in today. It looked used, it had sticky residue on it, stains and it came in a bag inside a usps box no box of its own. I think it was a factory second because my old ac adapter.. it has a sticker were the sticky stuff is. Oh yeah, also, for some reason I smelled the fan part of the computer and it smelled like burning. ( Read more... )

Wanna know what sucks? Waking up at 8 in the morning to drive across town so you can park on campus to goto your orientation only to find out that they changed the time to 6 hours later and to another room. Grrr.
