I've had Rika, Nei and Neifirst on my list for ages but have never gotten around to them. Since there's already a good Rika out there I'd be leaning more towards Neifirst, but could be talked either way. Unfortunately I don't think we usually go to the same conventions...

It's too bad that we don't attend the same conventions, because it would have been fun to do this together. Obscure costumes are always more entertaining in groups (then you can take turns explaining to the people who keep on asking "what are you exactly?").

If there is one con for you to attend if you only got the chance to go to one the whole year, you MUST go to Dragon*con. It will simply blow you away and you would have an amazing time. Everyone is heading there and the costumes are just out of this world. A fitting place for you to be. :D

Well they were pretend Bond girls, not actual Bond girls. And then we did Charlie's Angels poses. We should probably be ashamed. ;) But if the photos aren't TOO cringe-worthy, I'll post them... maybe under friendslock, though! lol

I did go to Dragon*Con last year, but it was so hard to find people, everyone seemed so busy and always intent on going or being somewhere... I ended up sightseeing in Atlanta more than going to the Convention. (The art museum had pieces on loan from the Louvre so it was awesome.)

Which is an option I often forget, I realize, because I keep on thinking my LJ friends are all far away.

I saw the comments about Katsu for next year lol...that hotel looks freaking ridiculous O_o I've never even considered Katsu before, but maybe next year...because, my goodness, that hotel...

The James Bond party was TO DIE FOR. Definitely doing it again (or something like it) next year. As for Katsu, I think I'll try to go, I mean it's local and it's at the Gaylord! lol

If I attend D*C this year I definitely want to have time for the aquarium! I was disappointed I couldn't do it this time around. And I thinkt the art museum is getting another shipment from the Louvres, although I'll be in Paris in July so I'll get to see more there.

(Ha ha the photos made it right before my email croaked and Maura already has them on facebook for maximum embarassment! The ones with the 3D glasses are soooo sexy. lol)

Good to see you're still planning to finish Jade! If you do go to any of the local cons this year and decide to wear him, I'll totally wear Asch again (I'm already trying to actually catch my friend who does Luke hopefully at Otakon since we weren't able to do at Katsu). ^_^

I just need to sit down and sew the coat, to be honest, but somehow I never get around to it. Well, I could also make a spear while I am at it... and who knows maybe a miracle will happen and Kit will finish (start?) Anise. ^_~
