Heading over to Port Townsend for the weekend tonight. We got the last reservation on the ferry, so we don't have to drive anywhere between three to five hours in order to get there. In less than two weeks time I will receive a pay raise from 11.50 to 14.10 an hour. Four months ago I was making just 10 even an hour so that is a nice change. Thankfully grocery stores will be the last thing ever affected by the economy because everyone has to eat, and I'm union. Horrah! An upside to the boring job.

I hopped the bus near my work to go up to Value Village and at the next stop an elderly lady gets on the bus. Just after the sun has set. It is still warm, with no need for sweatshirts or long sleeves, but no blinding light, and without the need to cool down. What is more perfect that wandering around in the dark in flip flips and shorts?

I got a gift certificate for a cd place from sis and dave on my birthday and finally got around to using it. I got four cds and only had to pay the 1.90 tax. i waited four and a half hours in line to get robbed of a bunch of my money. that's right, i got the new 3g iphone.

went to the zoo today. oddly enough i had never been to the woodland park zoo before, just the tacoma zoo at least half a dozen times.

i got a little lazy when it comes to turning the pictures. be warned.
