[Poll closed] Sate my curiosity I beg nicely of thee!

After having spent thousands of hours in any fandom, one tends to settle into a comfort zone and stop caring about what's going on with the rest of the fandom... I'm suddenly curious, what does the daily snitch crowd in general think of these main kid characters?

I have to say, I love how many of us relate Hermione to ourselves... It's like she's every bookish, geeky girl. :)

I'm quite amazed, and amused that so many people relate to Hermione :)

*snerk*

I don't see the need for this poll. Everyone knows there are only 2 people who like Harry, four dozen people who say WORD to liking Harry, and the rest of the universe is made up of icky Draco fangirls who can't appreciate that Harry GREW UP IN A CLOSET AND IZ 15!!!111 It's really tough being the most popular fictional character of our time, you know.

Dude, this isn't the snarkery here, don't show your true color :D

I'm not surprised at all by the poll results, but I find the reasonings fun to read nevertheless! Harry fans think they need to defend/justify his OOTP beheviors, Ron is simply likeable (but some of the Harry fans do not forgive his jealousy issue), Hermione reminds loads of people of their younger self(I'm sure they are referring to the non-tyrannous bits! Or I'll be really worried), Draco's fanbase only got attacked a little for which I'm thankful (and nobody is hating him for unforeseen reasons), Neville gets comments that match his own interestingness :)

Heh, I just just about to coplain about how those comments leaves space for no good explanation whatsoever. That'll teach me about long-windedness.;-)

Haha! I should've made the max. length 1,000 instead of 100 letters hun ;P?
Well I love your long-winedness, don't ever learn not to do it!

do you like the character that gets more lines?

No, really, I know they got a big role and all, it's only that I think they are quite... typical for main characters. But that is my opinion, of course. :)

Hahaha, L!

I agree, they are fairly typical, but the more I read fic and discuss the characters with people, analyzing the text in a way, the more I seem to find for these characters. There's more than meets the eye, really.

Also, I just find some of their features just really pleasant. Especially Ron. He's a typical funny, loyal sidekick, but I still consider him so much more and I love his character despite the stereotype-ness that he has.

Oh my god, Raito! Always freaky to see a DN icon in HP context.

DN is the manga equivalent of Radiohead, I haven't met a manga fan for a long time in any fandom who isn't loving it!

I hope my brief explanations were at least little explaining.

And to when I said I don't like people who know it all. I like them, but sometimes (quite often) they annoy me.

Yeah I got you, thanks! Well different personality traits annoy different people to different degrees, it's not like you are saying the know-it-all folks are evil or anything :P
