I'm beginning to believe this.
last wednesday, had 3 quick births in 3hrs, 16 minutes! WOW!

since then, have had 3 very difficult labors, one ending in a vacuum extraction, and the other 2 ending in c/s.
blah!!!!

hopefully the spell is broken, right?!

Vacuum Extraction.
To the layman that sounds pretty darn awful. I really hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

the wost part about it is that it just about always requires the doc (I've never sen a midwife do one, although it could be with their scope of practice and I'm just not aware)
to do an episiotomy (cut the perineum) to use it.
YUCK!
although I'd rather heal from that than a c-section, personally.
