I'm in Orlando at a conference called Learning2007. It's been very good so far (though I admit the day is young) but Disney is just not my thing. If I hear 'magical' one more time I may do something drastic.

After our trip to VT (which included hiking, wood splitting, potato digging and other relaxing activities), Ellyane and I have resolved to get out and do more hiking. Do to a perfect storm of work crap and end of class crunching I will be buried in my computer for at least the next week. That includes at least four hours of working from home today, which I almost never do. At least I don't have to go into the office.

In other news, I enjoy split pea soup.

Well, it's official. Today we signed many papers and handed over a huge chunk of change. In exchange we got keys. The keys to our first condo. Pretty snazzy. We drove straight over after the signing and it now has a welcome mat and our brass name plaque on the door.
