So, haven't really done much work lately, but I have been having fun. OKAY?? I have also been doing a lot of counter-hegemonic work, so LAY OFF ALREADY. I HAVE ALSO ( Read more... )

I did not know things like this happened in real life. I hope it goes well and she does not find the fact that he flew across the ocean to find her creepy in any way.

Er....um...I have been thinking a lot about how I keep feeling like I am much more grown up than I used to be, and then realizing that how I used to be is actually very recent, like last term, and I don't think I really have matured that much, and it's a very freshman in college thing to think about.

1) i have the same fear--the line between romantic and creepy is very very thin
2) hah yes, i always think about this too, and then i realize that it's a very early-twenties thing to think about. i wonder if i'll ever actually be old enough to justify this.

alissa, you and your spring break plans. anthropologie chooses seasonal collections based on this sort of thing.

i loved the missed connection. those are great.

OH GOD buying a plan ticket to do that kind of thing so dramatic and wonderful and amazing. i respect someone who is impractical enough to make that kind of gesture. i kind of like it. i am obviously going soft.

we need to buy a church to house an arts collective/throw amazing parties. yes.

oh anthropologie--i guess i think of florida as being really tacky and gross and not ride-my-bike-with-a-baguette-in-the-wire-basket BUT i will wear "resort season" regardless.

i likey you, i wish i could come for corey's bday but i have no monies for gas. i am saving up to buy our church instead. what do you think about arts collective/party venue/deli/bookstore/drunk food vendor??

My Spring Break = 3/29 through 4/8. Would it still be possible for me to stay in Evanston for part of that stretch?

wow. your entry = so not-unapproachable! several things...

1. Catholic Churches go bankrupt all the time and no one buys them up either. is it still sad/pitiful if it's Catholic?
2. um, i LOVE the Westing Game!! haha... brings me back...
3. I too will be in oh-so-wonderfully tacky floriday from march 16-19 (or so!) tampa??? let's be friends.

um something i've been doing a lot lately.... hanging out w/ twwo guys wwho live in different apartments in my building, one of whom i have a MAD crush on. we come closer to making out every time we're drunk together. i wish it would just happen already.
