...and it's Barcelona! Overnight coach on Thursday, beach on Friday, stay with friend (for free) on Friday night, sight-seeing Saturday, overnight coach back to Madrid on Saturday night and all ready to pick Michelle and Syra up from the airport at 4.30 on SUNDAY!

*So* excited! Just need to get tomorrow's exam out of the way and then I'm freeeeee!

Yesterday, I slept until 4 p.m and somehow managed to get myself into the biggest funk, ever. Today I did the same, for absolutely no reason at all. Luckily, Ross and Caroline are the two most awesome-ist people I know and THIS cheered me up no end. I'm sure it will continue to provide quality entertainment for years to come. I love you guys.

I completely emo-ed out on the way home last night. There was flouncing to the point where it surprised even me.

I really feel that I'm beginning to tire of the company I keep. There's a saying in Spanish that roughly translates as 'tell me who you're with and I'll tell you who you are'. sometimes I don't like who I am when I'm with who I'm with.

Still alive.

Also, although Eurovision threw me into a conflict over ethnicity (who should I be cheering for? The UK? Ireland? España?) I just have to say, how much did Armenia rock last night? What a finish! Sexy ribbon dancing and everything! Isn't being part of Europe GREAT?!

I'm missing everyone at home. Quite a lot actually.

Still blue, and now even the weather's in on it.

While you lot sit there enjoying the sun, spare a thought for me. La calle has transformed itself into a small stream! (Madrileños do not cope well with the rain.)

Luckily, I'm beginning to see the funny side of things.

To recap: My 10 days at home were great, just relaxing and seeing family and friends. My birthday felt suitably insignificant, but then they always do, don't they? 20? Psssh! However, the family were very generous with birthday money, (thank you!) so I'm thinking of splashing out and treating myself to one of THESE.

So, in the club last night some wanker went into my bag and nicked my phone and all the money out of my purse (around 40 Euros). Couple that with my severe lack of work ethic and the fact that ALL the boys are being complete pricks at the moment and you get one unhappy Sally.

Honestly, I haven't felt this miserable since I first got here in January.
