I know how you feel, my grandmother has been going through some(but not all) of the things you spoke of. It IS hard to see them like that, knowing that you are powerless to do anything about it. Thats when you have to step back, pray(if thats what you do), and let things go their course.

Our job is a stressful one, we are way over-worked and under-paid. I have nights when I think about calling in sick. Then I think about my crew getting 14 planes that need to be at the gate as early as 6 am. After that I feel compelled to go to work.
