I had a blast in North Carolina. It was extremely hot for one thing (90-95 degrees on average every day). I went to a "calling" for an infant girl today. She was the daughter of my neighbors, just barely 3 months old. She had a lot of problems when she was born, from fungus in her blood to part of her intestine being dead...she eventually died from kidney failure. I wasn't supposed to work today, but the guy who was my "trainer" called me and said he had an emergency at 3:30 p.m. and could I cover for him? He would pay me $20 extra.
