i know the one i call my grandpa is on his way out and it scares me so much.

my grandfather died at the end of 2002. i was not able to attend his service. this past december, i was down in southern california and was able to be there when they committed his ashes to their final location. it was so sad. i loved my grandpa and hadn't been able to see him in a few years. reading this post brought back all those sad feelings. i wish you well.

i wasn't able to go to mine, it was yesterday. yesterday was quite surreal too. i'm sorry to hear you have been in the same boat.
